Buchholz puts Texas villa on the market for $3.2 million
So far this season, Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz has been, as they say in his native Texas, all hat and no cattle. Soon, he may not have a home, either. Buchholz, who’s been one of this season’s biggest disappointments — he’s 3-9 with a 5.91 ERA — is selling his Tuscan-style villa on Lake Travis in Volente, Texas. The 7,421-square-foot home, which includes five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a movie theater, game room, and Infinity pool and spa, is listed for $3.2 million. The 31-year-old pitcher, whose poor performance over the weekend earned him another trip to the bullpen, is apparently being scouted by other MLB teams and may not be in Boston that much longer.
