Museum of Fine Arts director Matthew Teitelbaumand artists Frances Stark and Christian Marclay (above, from left) were among the many night owls who attended the #mfaNOW Overnight launch party last weekend. Nearly 7,000 attended the all-night soiree at the museum, which went from 6 p.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday. We’re told the crowd began lining up at 5 p.m. and didn’t thin out until after 3 a.m.Guests were treated to exhibition openings for “UH-OH: Frances Stark 1991-2015’’ and Christian Marclay’s “The Clock,’’ live graffiti painting by MerkThose, music by Substructure, food trucks, and “Insomniac Olympics’’ in the MFA’s Calderwood Courtyard. If you missed out, the MFA will host three more of these overnight parties this fall. The next one, titled “mfaNOW Overnight: College Edition,’’ will take place Oct. 14-15, followed by “mfaNOW Overnight: State of the Party’’ Nov. 4-5 and the aptly titled “mfaNOW Overnight: Last Call’’ Dec. 9-10. Each will start at 9 p.m. and end at 9 a.m., and, best of all, they’re free to attend.
