Brown and Flutie rock out at fund-raiser

Former US senator Scott Brown and Danny Klein from the J. Geils Band joined Doug Flutie at the Flutie Foundation’s annual gala Saturday night. Brown, Klein, and Flutie rocked out with the Flutie Brothers Band and Susan Wornick emceed the soiree, which took place at TripAdvisor’s headquarters in Needham and brought in more than $500,000 to help children and families affected by autism. . . . Joey Kramer of Aerosmith was seen enjoying the salmon special at Davio’s in Foxborough on Sunday night. . . . Also on Sunday, Pats pass catcher Julian Edelman stopped by Gre.Co on Newbury Street, where we hear he ordered a lamb plate and loukoumades. . . . Edelman’s teammate Marcus Cannon was spotted at Foxwoods Saturday night celebrating his birthday at Shrine Nightclub while DJ Costa, Kirill, and R3HAB manned the turntables. . . . Friday evening, filmmaker Frederick Wiseman was at WGBH for a discussion moderated by the Globe’s own Ty Burr. Wiseman talked about the 50th anniversary of the release of “Titicut Follies,’’ as well as his latest project, “Ex Libris,’’ a documentary about the New York Public Library.
