Tidy up!
Inspirational (and aspirational) book helps tackle spring cleaning
By Marni Elyse Katz
Globe Correspondent

It’s only February, but editors of the dreamy home site Remodelista are arming you with tips to get your house in order. “Remodelista: The Organized Home’’ (Artisan Books) by Julie Carlson and Margot Guralnick offers “simple, stylish storage ideas’’ for every part of the home. Advice ranges from how to organize your pet supplies (“decant’’ dog food into a retro metal trash can) to where to store your blow dryer (Canvas bucket! String bag!) and is accompanied by crisp, clean photo vignettes that make you want to adopt their ways. On Thursday, Feb. 15, from 5-8 p.m. Guralnick, the site’s architecture and interiors editor, will be signing books and answering questions at Good, with snacks provided by Uncommon Feasts. “Remodelista: The Organized Home,’’ $24.95 at Good, 20 Myrtle St., Boston, 617-722-9200, shopatgood.com
