A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody in Washington state after five people were found dead at a home near Seattle on Monday, officials said.

Two adults and three juveniles were killed in the shooting, a spokesperson for the King County Sheriff’s Office, Mike Mellis, said at a news conference Monday. Mellis did not specify the names or ages of the victims but said that the juveniles appeared to be “young teenagers.”

Officers had received several 911 calls that morning about “a disturbance with gunfire” at a home in Fall City, an unincorporated community about 25 miles east of Seattle.

At the home, officers found one “young man” whom they took into custody, Mellis said.

Another teenager, who was also at the home where both of them resided, was hospitalized with injuries to at least two parts of the body, Mellis said.

Mellis did not specify what the relationship was between the two teenagers and the deceased victims. “It does appear to be that this is a family incident, clearly a domestic violence.”
