A-ha singer fights Parkinson’s

Morten Harket, the beloved front man of the pop-synth group A-ha, shared some heartbreaking health news with fans recently in a story posted on the band’s website.

That news?

He is battling Parkinson’s disease.

The 65-year-old said he has had multiple brains surgeries as he tries to manage the disease.

“I’ve got no problem accepting the diagnosis,” he said. “With time I’ve taken to heart my 94-year-old father’s attitude to the way the organism gradually surrenders: ‘I use whatever works.’”
