Rose was born on April 11, 1931 in Southern California to Fred Dupree and Carrie Lea Dupree.<br><br>Rose was promoted to heaven to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on December 28, 2024 at the age of 93.<br><br>Rose was a graduate of Woodland High School and the Sacramento City College School of Nursing. She was employed by Sutter Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse for 25years and is credited as one of the founding nurses of the Sutter Hospital Telemetry Unit which opened in 1973.<br><br>Rose was a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.<br><br>Rose enjoyed several overseas vacations including travels to many European countries, Egypt, and was proud that she climbed the Great Wall of China.<br><br>She served as a docent for many years at the Crocker Art Gallery in Sacramento.<br><br>She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bowler. She bowled a perfect 300 game in a Sacramento bowling league.<br><br>Rose is pre-deceased by her parents, her son Michael Masterson, and her husband Dale B. Grissom Ph.D.<br><br>She is survived by her son Chuck Masterson (Victoria), daughter Marjorie Masterson, daughter-in-law Sheri Masterson, grandchildren Eric Masterson (Madelyn), Aimee Wilson (Blake) &amp; great-granddaughter Eliora Masterson.<br><br>Special thanks to Yolo Cares Hospice for their loving care of Rose during her final months.<br><br>There will be a private family graveside service. Rose requested any donations be made to the Holy Rosary Church building fund.<div></div><br>
