QUINCY Donna M. (Shea) Mulligan, of Quincy, formerly of Abington, passed away after along illness on June 21, 2025. She was 62.

Donna was the loving wife of Kevin Mulligan for almost 34 years. Devoted mother of Michael Mulligan and Patrick Mulligan of Abington. Loving daughter of Ann (McAuliffe) Shea of Quincy and the late Gerald R. Shea. Cherished sister of Annette Shea of Quincy, Diane (Shea) Ericson and her husband James Ericson of Braintree and Lynne (Shea) Bicknell of Whitman. Loving sister-in-law of Terrence Mulligan of Dorchester, Donna (Mulligan) Harris of Uxbridge, David Mulligan of Plymouth, Maureen Mulligan of Colorado and the late Jack Mulligan.

Donna is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who adored her.

Donna took great pride in being a nurse for more than 40 years, including at Milton Hospital and for more than the past 20years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston where she worked in the cardiac surgery intensive care unit achieving great success and highly regarded as a leader and mentor among her colleagues.

Donna’s greatest joy was her family, particularly her sons Michael and Patrick.

Donna and Kevin raised their sons in Abington before moving to Marina Bay in Quincy in 2018. Donna enjoyed living at Marina Bay with its oceanside location and her favorite places Victory Point Restaurant and the Chantey. Donna and Kevin also enjoyed vacationing in Lauderdale by the Sea in Florida.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, June 26 from 4to8p.m. at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church, 239 Neponset Ave., Dorchester on Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m.
