Lifelong Resident of Santa Cruz

Alma Dolores Rogers, 92, of Santa Cruz passed away on August 25th. She was the daughter of Pietro and Rina Rinaldi. She was born and raised in Santa Cruz and graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1950. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Richard Rogers. She is also survived by her two children Sandra Rogers and Greg (Adriana) Rogers; grandchildren Anthony and Amanda. She is preceded in death by her sister Sally and her brother Julio.

As a teenager she worked at Marini’s on the Boardwalk. She spent many years in banking. Alma enjoyed traveling to Italy and Switzerland to meet her cousins. She loved to cook and have family gatherings.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on September 5, 2024 at 11am.

Donations in her name can be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
