Swimming
Hamilton Wenham named Angela Ceriello as its new head coach for boys/girls swimming and diving. Ceriello takes over for Natalie Kliss, who held the post for 10 years and stepped down after recently starting in a new job that conflicted with pool times for practices.
“We are incredibly grateful to Natalie and her assistant Claudia (Ketchum) for the years of service they gave to the student-athletes at Hamilton-Wenham,” said Hamilton-Wenham athletic director Craig Genualdo. “At the same time, we are very excited to welcome coach Ceriello onto our coaching staff. She brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and energy to the role and we know she is excited to begin.”
Ceriello comes to Hamilton-Wenham having headed up the town Parks and Recreation program in Hamilton and Wenham for the past four summers. In that role, she taught fundamentals and techniques as well as racing strategies to children from a wide range of ages.
