Two Petaluma residents are facing hit-and-run charges in a collision that injured two children who struck while on an electric scooter in Rohnert Park in May.

Tamisha Joeline Smith, 34, and Bradley Davis McCullough, 25, were each charged Wednesday, July 15, with two counts of felony hit-and-run causing death or serious injury, according to Sonoma County Superior Court records. McCullough has an additional felony charge of being an accessory.

Smith and McCullough were both arrested May 31 and are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 17 and Sept. 8, respectively. Both are currently out of custody.

The May 29 collision occurred about 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bodway Parkway and Waterside Lane, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety reported.

Both children, identified in court records as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, were treated at a hospital, one for major injuries.

Investigators released a surveillance image of a silver 2004 to 2009 Dodge Durango SUV that they believed was involved in the collision.

Officials said they used information from license plate reader cameras to aid their investigation and suspects were arrested in Petaluma two days after the collision. They described Smith as the driver and McCullough as her passenger.
