Cessna cost
I am always amused when individuals insist that flying a plane is a hobby for the average individual, when it comes between $400,000 to $600,000 to purchase a single-engine Cessna, like a 172 Skyhawk, and between $50,000 (and) $300,000 for a used one, and the cost of renting one can range from $139 to $250 per hour. The average income in Longmont is $69,473. Let’s be realistic. Owning and flying a plane is generally not affordable for the average individual due to the individual and ongoing costs. This is a rich man’s hobby, like polo.
Felon over feeble
This is in regards to “Felon in the White House.” If it bothers people so much, move. Go to some overseas location like Rosie O’Donnell. I’d rather have a felon in the White House that is looking out for the American citizen than an old man with dementia who had his finger on the button and open borders and who cared less about the American public.
District court judges
Democrats attack the Supreme Court for decisions they have made or may make. At the same time, they applaud the lowest ranking district court judges for rulings and injunctions against actions and rules set by President Trump. Is it good for the country to pursue this trend? A district court judge, one of 600 in the country, can make these decisions. The Supreme Court of the United States requires a majority of opinion from nine judges who cannot individually do what district court judges routinely do. This is a major corruption of power.
$400 million plane
It is a puzzlement that Qatar wants to give a $400 million winged behemoth to the Department of Defense for use by Donald Trump as Air Force One without any strings attached to keep it airborne. After his term, rather than being used by the successor to the presidential office, it’s going to be flown to the Trump Presidential Library. It’s size certainly can be justified in order to hold all of the baggage of top secret documents and civil and criminal court records that were accumulated by President Trump in order to have enough time for him to fly them to whatever place he wants.
