Betty Ruth Whitley, 94, of Longmont passed away March 11 at her home. She was born May 21, 1930, in Oswego, Illinois to Albert and Anna Corniels.<br><br>Betty and her husband, Jim Whitley, moved to Longmont in 1984 from Illinois. She retired from BI, Inc. in Gunbarrel in 2000. She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years and their daughter, Londa Konieczny. She is survived by her daughter Lugene Whitley, a grandson, Ryan Konieczny, and a great-grandson, Matthew Konieczny, who will always remember the love she brought to their lives.<br><br>A graveside inurnment for Betty will be held March 18, 1:30 pm at Foothills Gardens of Memory, 14241 N 107th Street, Longmont, CO.
