I live in an apartment complex of about24 apartments. On Memorial Day, which is coming up, I’m the only one who puts a flag out. The other people they can’t be bothered by putting a flag out. But, oh yes, they’ve got their Blackhawks flags, their happy space smiley flag, their Cubbie flag. What’s wrong with people? Don’t they realize that all the freedom and everything else we have in this country was fought and died for by American soldiers?

I am hoping this village of Tinley Park and all of our neighborhoods throughout Tinley Park are flying our U.S. flag not only for Memorial Day and our vets but for all who helped through these trying times we are going through. God bless America. Keep us strong.

I think the solution to all these corona closings is simple. If you want to be open, be open. If you want to be out and about, be out and about. If you want to stay at home stay at home. You assume the risk, but know that no corona lawsuits will be heard by any court.

I just heard former President Barack Obamabadmouthing current President Donald Trump and saying he’s doing what’s easy and what’s infantile, but in his eight years as president what exactly did he do besides give people Obama phones. He had eight years to accomplish something and he was going to help people in poorer neighborhoods, but yet he’ll build his library in an affluent neighborhood when he should have built it in Englewood where we need the jobs and to build up the community.

I am a resident of Worth. This townstill hasn’t recovered from the last recession. Taxes are ridiculous. The town is now pretty much shut down. According to the corona tracker, we have about 70 positive cases out of 10,600 residents. Obviously, there is no problem here. Open the town already, and don’t group us with Chicago.
