


The National Day of Prayer — an annual, unified effort to bring people of all faiths together across the United States — returns Thursday with several designated locations in Oakland County.
Oakland County sites:
• Clawson — Blair Memorial LIbrary, Prayer at the Gazebo, 7-8 p.m.• Northville — St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6:30 a.m. — 6 p.m. (free pancake breakfast 6:30 — 9 a.m. in parish hall)
• Pontiac — National Day of Prayer — For Foster Care, Hope Center, noon — 2 p.m.
• Pontiac — McLaren Oakland Hospital, 8 a.m. — 8 p.m.
• Troy — Troy City Hall — Veterans Memorial Plaza, 6 — 7 p.m.
• Wixom — St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 9 a.m. — 8 p.m. includes prayer walk, bonfire
