• The Smith Rafael Film Center hosts a screening of “Granite Rapids Moon,” a romantic drama shot entirely inside the rim of the Grand Canyon, at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 1118 Fourth St. in San Rafael. A conversation with producer and actor John Charles Meyer and actor Etienne Eckert will follow. Admission is $13 to $15; a portion of the ticket sales benefits the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, Center for Environmental Health and California Coastal Trail Association.
