PARIS>> The Paralympic Games ended Sunday with two world records and a spectacular light show during a closing ceremony dominated by French electronic music

Falcons wear T-shirts honoring school shooting victims before opener

ATLANTA>> Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins and head coach Raheen Morris wore Apalachee High School T-shirts during warmups before their season opener, honoring the four killed and nine injured by a 14-year-old gunman in the shooting.

The high school is about 20 miles from the Falcons’ practice facility in Flowery Branch.

Boston’s career day, Clark’s double-double help Fever beat Dream 104-100 in OT

INDIANAPOLIS>> Aliyah Boston scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and Caitlin Clark added 26 points and 12 assists to help the Indiana Fever beat Atlanta 104-100 in overtime and spoil the Dream’s Rhyne Howard’s third consecutive game with more than 30 points.

Boston made 11 of 16 from the field and 8 of 8 from the free-throw line while Clark posted her franchise-record 14th double-double of the season.
