Billy Ray Cyrus is off the market, and Elizabeth Hurley is, too.
The country singer and the British actress made that known on Easter when they went Instagram official, sharing a photo of themselves cuddled up and sharing a kiss, on the social media site.
The news comes in what has been a rough past year for Cyrus.
He had an ugly divorce from Australian singer Firerose that played out publicly before becoming official last June.
Cyrus also made headlines earlier this year for his performance during an inauguration event for President Donald Trump. That performance was so bad that some fans worried on social media about Cyrus’ health.
Hurley famously dated actor Hugh Grant from 1987 to 2000. She was also previously married to Indian businessman Arun Nayar and Australian cricket player Shane Warne.
Martin is smart enough to spot crossword error
Steve Martin wasn’t being a jerk when he publicly corrected The New York Times crossword for mislabeling him as a member of the high-IQ society Mensa.
The “Jerk” and “Only Murders in the Building” star shared a photo Friday of the recent crossword clue: “Elite group whose members include Steve Martin and Geena Davis.”
“Hey NYT crossword, FYI, I’m not a member of Mensa and never have been. Just a regler (sic) guy,” said the 79-year-old Emmy winner.
In the comments, actress Rita Wilson, who worked with Martin in the 1994 dark comedy “Mixed Nuts,” said she saw the clue and thought he’d been “keeping secrets.”
A fan quipped that they’d been told “there’s a parallel organization for the rest of us, called DENSA.”
Things are alright as the who, drummer reconcile
A legendary rock band is whole again.
The Who announced over the weekend that Zak Starkey, the group’s drummer for nearly three decades, is back in the lineup. Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend had reportedly fired him after a “huge fallout” last month, but said he’s been reinstated.
“He’s not being asked to step down from The Who,” Townshend said Saturday. “There have been some communication issues, personal and private on all sides, that needed to be dealt with, and these have been aired happily.”
Starkey had been accused of “overplaying” at two charity concerts last month to raise money for Daltrey’s Teenage Cancer Trust.
Townshend said Starkey “made a few mistakes” and apologized.
