The Friends of the Davis Public Library would like to announce its next monthly book sale on Friday, Feb. 7, from noon to 7 p.m. in the Blanchard Room at the library.

The sale will be open to members and non-members alike from Friday, Feb. 7 through Sunday, Feb. 9. On Sunday, bring your own bag and fill it up for $10 per bag. Members will receive $2 off at each sale (non-cumulative) and folks can sign up to be members at the door. There are no scanners on Friday, but they are welcome on Saturday and Sunday.

Hours will be Friday, Feb. 7, from noon to 7 p.m.; on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Sunday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will be held at the Davis Public Library located at 315 East 14th St. in Davis. Masking is always recommended.

Special collections at this sale will include some great items, including a lot of Zane Grey and Louis L’Amour westerns, Civil War books, and loads of kid’s books, plus a record number of puzzles. There will be the usual assortment of CDs, LPs and magazines available. DVDs are only $1 each.

Please note the following special services. There is now access to a credit card device to help those interested in purchasing books with a credit card. Thus, we take most credit/debit cards now. Apple Pay is also accepted. There is always an ample supply of children’s books available.
