Honoring you today, Dad On Veterans Day 2023

You proudly enrolled in the Marine Corps in 1942. You served in the Pacific Theater as Corporal with the 3rd Marine Division and courageously fought in the battles at Bougainville, Guam, and Iwo Jima. You received two Purple Hearts for wounds suffered on August 5, 1944 and February 26, 1945.

Dad, you were part of the Greatest Generation and we thank you for all you did for our country. We will never forget.
