Janet Lee Hoskins, 79, of Anaheim, California, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025. Born in Flint, Michigan, on February 4, 1945, Janet built a life filled with love, dedication, and creativity.
On September 3, 1966, she married the love of her life, David Allan Hoskins, with whom she shared many cherished years. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and shared passions, including their family business.
Janet dedicated much of her career to serving her community as an administrative assistant for the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim United Methodist Church. Her kindness, efficiency, and steady presence made a lasting impact on those she worked with and supported.
A woman of many talents, Janet found joy in gardening, assembling jigsaw puzzles, stitching, sewing, and playing the piano. She was also a gifted square dance caller, bringing music and movement to life with her energy and enthusiasm.
Janet is survived by her loving son, Paul Allan Hoskins, who carries forward her legacy of kindness and resilience.
She is reunited in peace with her beloved husband, David.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Janet’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on February 9, 2025, at Fairhaven Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705.
Janet’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
