Popular ‘60s rock frontman dies
James Lowe, the frontman for the psychedelic rock band ‘The Electric Prunes,’ has died. He was 82.
Lowe actually passed away on May 22, according to Variety. No cause of death was reported. The outlet reported that his family said he died “from natural causes — suddenly, yet peacefully — surrounded by family and music.”
Lowe and the Electric Prunes were best known for their 1960s hit “I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night),” and another single, “Get Me to the World on Time.”
