Bob from Frankfort, I hope the people in Adam Kinzinger’s district vote him in again. At least he stands up for the truth and the Constitution and the rule of law. He doesn’t run from the truth like Trump and McCarthy and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, something the Republicans never heard of doing. I wish there were more congressmen like him.

There was a rather derogatory comment about Adam Kinzinger in Speak Out. Kinzinger has more integrity and honor than the clown car that is the leadership of the Republican Party put together. Abe Lincoln is rolling around in his grave.

I hope Laura Ingram and Tucker Carlson never need any help from the police because what they did smearing these heroes who defended the Capitol Jan. 6 is just disgraceful. These people laughed at them, called them liars and overly dramatic. These are people who defend us. What happened to Blue Lives Matter? I can’t believe anyone still watches Fox News after what I just saw.

Mr. Shnay compared citizen responses between the polio epidemic and today’s COVID-19 pandemic. He said that not everyone cares about each other as much as years ago and that there are political issues involved. I totally agree, However, I think that polio, then and now, is viewed very fearfully due to its resultant paralysis. If COVID-19 caused paralysis, I think many more people would be vaccinated. It would threaten their quality of life and mobility, make them dependent. I think people fear paralysis more than dying or suffering from COVID-19.

Please help me to understand. Over $40 billion was sent to states to help with people who have fallen behind in their rent and mortgage due to the pandemic, yet only a few billion have been used. Now people will be evicted from their homes. My question is why? Is it because people didn’t apply for funds? Or is this because not enough people were hired to disperse the funds? Something is not adding up.
