Jalen Milroe already had established himself as one of the nation’s most dynamic players while working behind an injury-riddled offensive line.

With all his blockers finally healthy Saturday, Milroe got even more opportunities to showcase his explosiveness and his passion for the game.

Milroe threw three touchdowns and ran for two more as No. 4 Alabama made a rare trip north and won 42-10 over Wisconsin, which lost quarterback Tyler Van Dyke to an injury on the game’s first series.

Milroe went 12 of 17 for 196 yards with touchdown passes of 31 yards to Ryan Williams, 26 yards to Germie Bernard and 37 yards to Josh Cuevas. He also rushed for 75 yards on 14 carries, scoring on runs of 3 and 10 yards.

Dillon Gabriel threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 64 yards with another score to lead Oregon to a 49-14 win over Oregon State.

Miami 62, Ball St. 0 >> Cam Ward was dominant again, throwing for 346 yards and five touchdowns before getting subbed out early in the second half as No. 10 Miami piled up stats in a 62-0 win over Ball State.

Utah 38, Utah St. 21 >> Isaac Wilson had 239 yards passing and three touchdowns in his first career start to lead No. 12 Utah to a 35-21 victory over Utah State.

Wilson started in place of Cam Rising, who sat out after injuring his throwing hand against Baylor last week.

Oklahoma St. 45, Tulsa 10 >> Alan Bowman matched a career high with five touchdown passes, and No. 13 Oklahoma State routed Tulsa 45-10 to set up next week’s Big 12 showdown against No. 12 Utah.

Oklahoma 34, Tulane 19 >> Jackson Arnold ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as No. 15 Oklahoma beat Tulane 34-19.

Arnold passed for 169 yards and ran for 97. Taylor Tatum caught a touchdown pass and ran for a score, and Deion Burks caught seven passes for 80 yards to help lead the Sooners.

LSU 36, South Carolina 33 >> Josh Williams scored on a 2-yard run with 1:12 left and mistake-prone No. 16 LSU rallied to beat South Carolina 36-33 to open Southeastern Conference play.

Michigan 28, Arkansas St. 18 >> Kalel Mullings ran for a career-high 153 yards and two touchdowns to help No. 17 Michigan overcome Davis Warren’s three interceptions in a 28-18 victory over Arkansas State.

Notre Dame 66, Purdue 7 >> Quarterback Riley Leonard finally got Notre Dame’s offense off the ground, helping No. 18 Notre Dame pound Purdue 66-7 for the most lopsided loss in the Boilermakers’ 137-year history.

Illinois 30, Central Mich. 9 >> Luke Altmyer threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns, both to Pat Bryant, to lead Illinois to a 30-9 win over Central Michigan.

Washington St. 24, Washington 19 >> John Mateer ran for two touchdowns and threw for one more, Washington State made a goal line stand with 1:07 remaining, and the Cougars reclaimed the Apple Cup with a 24-19 win over Washington.

Iowa 38, Troy 21 >> Kaleb Johnson rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns as Iowa rallied in the second half for a 38-21 win over Troy. It was the third consecutive 100-yard rushing game for Johnson.
