Leonard (Mike) Cox, 76, of Beaumont, CA passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Leonard joined the Army at the age of 17 and proudly served in Vietnam. He was decorated with the following medals: National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. After returning, he worked at BNSF Railroad for 35 years as lead painter. Leonard enjoyed music, dancing, his many cars, but most of all his loving wife.

Leonard will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Leonard is survived by his wife Sylvia Cox, his daughter Isabella (Marie) Gutierrez, his son Mark Cox and five grandchildren Jeremy, Erin, Aiden Gutierrez and Hunter and Ellis Cox. Leonard requested a Celebration of Life be held in his honor as opposed to a traditional funeral service.
