Maxx Crosby (ankle) and Davante Adams (hamstring), who each have multiple All-Pro selections, will not play for the Raiders when they host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Tight end Michael Mayer also will not play because of personal reasons. Right tackle Thayer Munford Jr. (knee/ankle) and linebacker Divine Deablo (oblique) haven’t practiced this week and also will be sidelined.

Crosby suffered a high ankle sprain two weeks ago at Baltimore and was noticeably limited when playing Sunday against the Panthers. This will be the first game Crosby, who often plays hurt and is one of the NFL’s elite pass rushers, will have missed in his six-year career. It’s also the first start he won’t make since his rookie season in 2019.

The Raiders already were thin at defensive end with Malcolm Koonce out for the season with a torn ACL.

Adams injured his hamstring in practice Thursday. Among the NFL’s top receivers, Adams has 18 catches for 209 yards and a touchdown through three games. He had more than 1,000 yards in receptions in five of the previous six seasons and finished 3 yards short of that mark in 2019.

REPORTS: Pistons owner to buy share of Chargers >> Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores agreed to purchase a 27% stake in the Chargers, multiple sources reported. The purchase has not been announced by the team.

It is expected to be approved by NFL owners at their league meetings in Atlanta next month.

Gores is buying the 24% share held by Dea Spanos Berberian, which includes 9% that is in a family trust that has a 36% stake in the team. He is also purchasing 1% each from shares owned by Dean Spanos, Alexis Spanos Ruhl and Michael Spanos for estate planning purposes.

The transaction ends a bitter three-year fight between Spanos Berberian and her siblings. Spanos Berberian filed a lawsuit against Chargers controlling owner Dean Spanos in 2021 that alleged breach of fiduciary duty by the Spanos Trust and tried to force a sale.

She filed another lawsuit in 2022 accusing her brother of “misogynistic” behavior, “self-dealing” and repeated “breaches of fiduciary duty.”

As part of the sale, Spanos Berberian agreed to resolve her disputes with the family and the franchise.

Cowboys’ Parsons, Lawrence ailing >> Two-time All-Pro Micah Parsons and fellow pass rusher DeMarcus Lawrence could miss multiple games for the Dallas Cowboys after getting hurt in a 20-15 victory over the New York Giants, multiple sources reported.

Parsons has a high ankle sprain and Lawrence a foot sprain, reports said.

One report said Parsons was considered week to week while Lawrence probably would be out longer but was still being evaluated.

Coach Mike McCarthy declined to get into specifics of either injury but said Lawrence’s situation was worse than that of Parsons. McCarthy said he expected both to play again this season.

Panthers guards might be sidelined >> The Carolina Panthers could be without both of their high-priced free agent guard acquisitions on Sunday when they host the winless Cincinnati Bengals.

Panthers coach Dave Canales said Damien Lewis (elbow) has been ruled out and Robert Hunt is questionable after tweaking his hip in practice on Friday. Hunt did not finish practice.

Browns could be without Willis Jr. >> The Cleveland Browns will be without starting left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. on Sunday against Las Vegas after he injured his right knee last week while making his season debut following surgery in December.

Wills will sit out along with tackle Jack Conklin and tight end David Njoku, who were all ruled out Friday before practice by coach Kevin Stefanski. Running back Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring) will also miss the game.
