Colorado State men’s basketball released its nonconference schedule for the 2024-25 season Wednesday that includes six games at Moby Arena and the Rocky Mountain Showdown in Boulder in early December.
Not including an exhibition game against Adams State on Oct. 30, the Rams will play their first three games at home. Visiting Fort Collins in early November will be North Dakota (Nov. 4), Tennessee State (Nov. 8) and Denver (Nov. 12).
CSU will play its first road nonconference game at Ole Miss on Nov. 16 before returning home to face UC Riverside on Nov. 22.
The Rams will then play a pair of games at the Acrisure Invitational in Palm Desert, Calif., to close out their November schedule. CSU will face Washington on Nov. 28, and then either Santa Clara or TCU on Nov. 29. The Rams defeated Washington last year, 86-81, in Las Vegas.
In December, the Rams will play four nonconference games prior to the start of Mountain West Conference play late in the month. CSU will host Loyola Marymount on Dec. 4 before visiting Colorado on Dec. 7. CSU defeated the Buffs in Fort Collins last year, 88-83.
CSU will then face Virginia Commonwealth on Dec. 14 in Henderson, Nev., before returning home for its final nonconference game at Moby Arena on Dec. 17 against Radford. The game against VCU will be the first-ever meeting between the schools.
The Rams are coming off a 25-11 season in which they made their second trip to the NCAA Tournament in three years. Last season, the Rams went 12-1 in nonconference play, including wins in their first nine games.
