Why is it so hard for people to say, “Yes, that's my candidate, but he really shouldn't be acting or talking like that?” Why do people blindly defend this? Nobody can be this brainwashed.

I am just wondering if the bridge in Indianapolis will take as long to repair as the Cline Avenue bridge has taken?

After all the other things he's taken credit for that he had nothing to do with, how much you want to bet Trump tries to take credit for the end of the drought in California?

Is the quality of play down in the NFL because of the new coaches being hired?

A lot of people, quite a few good friends of mine, support Trump completely and I am hoping with all my might that their support is not misplaced. He scares me to death.

Republicans are going crazy over Congressman John Lewis' claim that Trump will not be a legitimate president. Where was all this outrage during those years when Trump was claiming that Obama wasn't a legitimate president, not even an American citizen? Republicans are generally so dense they don't even see the irony. Or the hypocrisy.

I was never an Obama fan. I did not think he was qualified to be president and he didn't disappoint. I don't understand all these people just bowing at his feet like he was a god or something and saying we will never again have someone with so much dignity and class in the White House again. Oh, please. I prefer not to be that pessimistic.

Headline: “Trump Slides in Polls. Even Among Trump Voters.” It sure didn't take long for buyers' remorse to set in.

According to a CNN study, 4 in 10 Americans could not deal with an unexpected $500 expense. And yet, many of these people continue to vote Republican, for the very people who have gotten them into this mess by, among other things, refusing to raise the minimum wage, refusing to back equal pay for women and refusing to back policies to prevent wage theft by employers. It just doesn't make sense.

To the prosecutor's office in the city of Hobart: What is up with the rude service to the residents of Hobart when it comes to questions over the phone? Don't our taxes pay your salary? Or is it an ego trip?

Throughout the campaign, Trump's basic response to criticism of him was the typical 5-year-old's response of “No, I'm not, you are.” I think he knew the Russians were rigging the election in his favor and that's why he went on the offensive and claimed the election was rigged for Hillary. Nice diversion.

For those of you who voted straight party Republican, it's all on you what happens.

Was the press right to air the accusations about Donald Trump? What would Trump do if the situation were reversed? If this story was about one of his rivals, he would embellish it and run with it every day of the week.

Did you see the pile of “documents” beside the lectern at Trump's press confrontation? Are we supposed to be so naive as to believe that the records of an alleged multibillion dollar business would be stored in a bunch of Manila folders? A stage prop every bit as fake as Trump himself.
