Why the Buffs lost: Turnovers. Plain and simple, the Buffs had a season-high 30 turnovers and that led to 39 West Virginia points.

Three stars:

1. WVU’s Ja’na Quinerly: She scored 19 points and racked up six steals in setting the tone on both ends of the floor.

2. WVU’s Sydney Shaw: Scored 19 points, including going 4-for-8 from 3-point range.

3. CU’s Jade Masogayo: Finished with eight points, seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
