



Sweet opportunities will be available at the annual Strawberry Festival taking place Friday, June 20 through Sunday, June 22 at St. Isidore Church, 18201 23 Mile Road, Macomb Township.
The festival runs from 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 12:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Plenty of family-friendly fun, including kids game tent, inflatables and Oopsy Daisy the Clown providing entertainment and Sunday will find a petting zoo and face painting amongst the offerings.
There is also bingo and euchre. Music will be provided by Steve King and the Dittilies on Friday, Parallel Fifth on Saturday and Atomic Radio on Sunday.
Food offerings will include a taco bar and and an ice cream bar on Friday, pasta dinner on Saturday and Polish dinner on Sunday. Of course, there will be all sorts of strawberry offerings on hand including pies, shakes and cheesecake.
“We strive to make it as friendly for the kids and the families as we can so they will feel free to enjoy the food, entertainment and all that we offer,” said Mike Fontana, chairperson for the festival.
Friday will feature a car show, Saturday will feature a Sweet Walk and Sunday will feature the Talent Show, where family friendly talents of all types will have a chance to take the stage and shine.
