September 12, 1927 - December 2, 2024 Resident of Walnut Creek Born in Wilmington, De to Edward and Helen Dugan.<br><br>Died at his home in Walnut Creek, Ca surrounded by his family and friends.<br><br>Jim never met a stranger, loving to visit with everyone, especially if a Manhattan was involved!<br><br>Jim grew up in Bellefonte, De, attended Archmere Academy prior to graduating from Villanova University.<br><br>He married the love of his life, Joan Butler, in1957 moving to Dallas, Simsbury, Ct and Walnut Creek.<br><br>Jim and Joan met performing in Catholic Radio, he was a WWII vet specializing in coding, 4th degree KoC, and SIRs member.<br><br>Fabulous father to Maura (Ken), Jim Jr (deceased), Mary Beth (Greg), Kara (Duncan), Jennifer (David), Aileen (Michael), and Bridget (Richard). Beloved “Papa” to Nicholas, Cameron, Cole, Zander, Maya, Ava, Aiden, Hunter, Gavin, Elliott, Ryder.
