Former Resident of San Jose

Duane was born in Minnesota and grew up in Sacramento, CA, where he met his high school sweetheart Lola. Their families were neighbors, and Lola and Duane had been married for 50years, when she passed away in 2007. Duane worked as an office manager for several financial services companies. He was passionate about sports, having played in his high school’s baseball, basketball, and football teams, and he continued playing basketball in San Jose adult corporate basketball leagues during the 1970s.

Duane is survived by his children and their respective families. He is still in their hearts and memories.

In accordance with his personal wishes, Duane was cremated, with his ashes spread without a ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery in April 2022.
