Noteworthy: The quarterback threw for 303 yards and accounted for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in Bosco’s 34-27 win in a nationally televised game against Chaminade-Madonna in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday. It was Fuiava’s first varsity start.

Noteworthy: The junior distance runner finished her first cross country race of the season in a personal-best time of 17 minutes and 27 seconds over 5,000 meters (3.1 miles) at Poly’s annual Bun Run at Los Cerritos Park on Saturday. Peck improved on her personal best by nearly one minute. The former Moore League champion has been Poly’s top distance runner since her freshman year.
