Erica Staunton, a senior outside hitter for the Sandburg girls volleyball team, had 117 kills and 15 blocks in 11 matches. Among her highlight efforts were 22 kills vs. Joliet Catholic and 16 kills vs. Neuqua Valley. "Not only can Erica attack, but her defense and blocking make her one of the most formidable front-row players in the state," Sandburg coach David Vales said. "When she gets hot, there is virtually no way to stop her."
