Rosie O’Donnell has made some big moves in 2025.

The actress and comedian posted a video on TikTok on Tuesday in which she shared that she moved to Ireland with her child Clay in mid-January, saying, “Although I was never someone who thought I would move to another country, that’s what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child.”

O’Donnell explained that she moved to Ireland on Jan. 15 and is “in the process” of getting her Irish citizenship, as she has Irish grandparents.

“It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say. The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming. And I’m very grateful,” she also said.

“I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home, and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country,” O’Donnell added. “And when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”

The “League of Their Own” star continued, “It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know.”

O’Donnell is not the only celebrity to move out of the U.S. in recent months. Personalities including Ellen DeGeneres and Richard Gere have also moved abroad.

Vanna White realizes she gets 331 days off a year

Vanna White only works 34 days a year, but she says it’s not as easy as you think.

During a recent conversation on radio program “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” White talked about her work schedule on “Wheel of Fortune.”

“We film about 34 days a year,” she said. “That’s it.”

Those present reacted with surprise. White was then asked how many shows she films a day.

“Six shows in a day,” White said. “Come on, feel bad for me.”

After all, as was pointed out, that’s six wardrobe changes. When White was told that means she has 331 days off a year, the cohost of the popular game show looked slightly surprised.

“Yes, I guess so,” she said. “I never thought of it that way.”

Surgery forces Billy Joel to postpone concerts

Billy Joel announced this week that he is postponing eight tour dates due to an undisclosed “medical condition.”

“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” Joel said in a statement. “I look forward to getting back onstage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans.”

None of the concerts is on the West Coast.
