Frank Cesario, 83 passed away peacefully at Porter Hospice with family at his side. He was born in Hudson, MA to Frank and Frances Cesario. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, he went on to graduate studies at Montana State and received a doctorate from The Ohio State University. His career began in contract research, but the opportunity to pursue post doctoral studies brought him to Cornell. For the next 35 years, he touched the lives of many students teaching graduate level classes at Cornell, Syracuse, and the University of Colorado.
Frank is survived by his wife Barbara, brother David (Judy), children Cynthia (Ian) Fletcher, Michael (Renee) Cesario, and Karin (Christian Simpfendorfer) Cesario. He was also a loving and proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren: Katie, Anna, Zach, Allie, Hannah, Joseph, William, Amelia, and Madeline.
Frank was a scholar, collegiate athlete, published author and marathoner; however, his family and friends best know him for his love of life, his hilarious antics, and his ability to liven up any gathering. Frank was a loving and caring man who was always a source of fun. He will be missed.
