Resident of San Ramon

Dennis L. Quick, a resident of San Ramon, passed away on April 3, 2025, aged 81, after a brief illness.

Dennis had been a resident of San Ramon for over forty years. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on March 5,1944 and was the eldest son of Lester and Ruth Quick of Findlay, Ohio. Dennis attended Bowling Green University and graduated from Ohio State in 1967 with a degree in electrical engineering.

He spent over 30 years in his field working for several top telecommunications companies until he retired in 1999. Upon retirement, Dennis had the opportunity to travel the world with his wife of 24 years, Jean K. Quick, and focused on his love of cooking, gardening and his passion for music and talk radio. Dennis’s life was marked by his propensity to solve any problem, no matter how big or small, and he welcomed any challenge.

Dennis was happiest spending time with his family and friends and will be fondly remembered for his wide range of knowledge, intellectual wit and his incredible cooking abilities.

Dennis issurvived by his wife, Jean K. Quick, his daughter Danielle Henry and son in law John Henry, and his son, Jason Quick and daughter in law Katrina Quick. Heissurvived by his best friend of 40 years, John Ho of San Ramon.

Additionally, “Papa” as he was called, is survived by six grandchildren; Jacob, Abigale, Annabella, Emma, Gia and Bobby.

Dennis is also survived by his younger sister, Linda Click of Findlay, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to DAV and Tunnel toTowers.
