


Loyola Marymount University committed Kaleb Wing had a career day, and Scotts Valley High’s baseball team routed visiting Watsonville 21-1 in the teams’ five inning nonleague game Saturday.
Wing had four hits, including a double, two home runs, eight RBI, and scored three times.
Six of the Falcons’ 25 hits went for extra bases.
Tyler Howard had two hits, two RBI, and scored three runs. Bryce McDonnell had two hits and two RBI. Clayton Pryor and Kit Deforest each had two hits and scored twice. Lukas Bloom had two RBI and scored twice. Isaac Martin had two hits, three RBI, and scored a run. Fabricio Gomez had three RBI and scored a run. Owen Martin scored three runs.
Bloom struck out four batters over two innings and earned the win.
Kaden Ortiz had a hit and scored for the Wildcatz.(0-5), who play at North Monterey County (2-3) on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Scotts Valley (2-4) hosts Santa Teresa (2-3) of San Jose on March 18 at 4 p.m.
At Monte Vista Christian 4, St. Thomas More 1 >> Tyson Shaw had two hits, two RBI, and scored a run in the unbeaten Mustangs’ nonleague win Saturday.
Parker Brown had two hits and one RBI for the Mustangs (6-0). Dante Darnell, Evan Vessey, and Carter Wright each had a hit and scored a run. Wright also had one RBI. Darnell stole two bases.
Sophomore Chris Bautista gave up five hits and two hits in his complete-game win while striking out eight batters.

Harbor finished with seven hits and drew four walks.

Winning pitcher Ethan Williams, a junior right-hander, gave up both hits and struck out six batters over six innings for the Wildcats (5-1).
Work gave up two runs, two hits and two walks, and struck out two batters.

Abby Howell had a hit, two RBI, two stolen bases, and scored twice, Taylor Wilson tripled, drew two walks, had one RBI, stole two baes, and scored twice; and Jazzy Phillips had two walks and scored twice.
Sofie Seese struck out 14 batters and gave up one unearned run in her complete-game two-hitter.

At Canada 7, Cabrillo 4 >> Adrian Castaneda had two hits, two RBI, and scored a run in the Seahawks’ loss Saturday.
Diego Grabiel had two hits and scored a run for the Seahawks.
Devin Bettencourt gave up two runs over seven innings and earned the win. Anders Page-Roth gave up seven runs, four earned, over 4 2/3 innings and took the loss.

Cabrillo suffers DH sweep >> The Seahawks were swept in a doubleheader by visiting Siskiyous, 10-3 and 13-0, on Saturday.
Brisea Rivera, Charileen Pauneto, and Maddi Burry scored for the Seahawks, who finished with 10 hits on the day.
Cabrillo (2-17-1) plays at Chabot (0-17) on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
