William (Bill) Dwight Deininger PhD (1956-2025) It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we mourn the unexpected passing of William Deininger, fondly known to all as Bill. He was surrounded by loved ones in life as in death, and passed peacefully on June 21st, 2025 at the young age of 68.
Bill is survived by his dear wife Judy, his children Lia, Daniel, M.E., her husband Walter, and Declan. He is also survived by his mother Rita, his brothers Bob and Richard, and his sister Carol.
A thoughtful husband, father, and brother, kind and funny, Bill will be remembered dearly by all, from strangers to coworkers and family alike. He made friends everywhere he went: the ski slopes in his Masters Racing program at Copper Mountain, as an Aerospace engineer at Ball Aerospace, BAE Systems, JPL, and in his travels across the US visiting National Parks and family members.
Bill brightened every room he entered, and only left when ever yone had laughed. His dad jokes, amazing cooking, and good company will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held in August.
