With consumers rapidly purchasing vehicles that are larger than normal to haul more people, more things, or enjoying the outdoors post-Covid lifestyle, there are consumers who still want the average sized SUV. As Lexus continues to deliver the amazing experience they tout, the NX 350 F-Sport arrives in Grasso’s Garage for a week long review.
Wrapped in Copper Crest, the NX350 F-Sport is smaller than the RX class, while still larger than the recently tested UX class. Its middle of the fleet-sized SUV boasts luxury, style and comfort while still accommodating 4-passengers comfortably and 5 when required.
Powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 275 horsepower, the all-wheel drive NX350 F-Sport has an 8-speed automatic transmission and can tow 2,000 pounds. This grocery getter and around town SUV is great for upscale luxury consumers who don’t want a big vehicle and ones who want long term reliability. Competition to the Lexus NX 350 are the Volvo XC40, Acura RDX, Audi Q3 and BMW X3, all of which have similar features with scattered pricing.
Our optioned-up NX 350 had the F-Sport Luxury package added for an additional $2,865 which included a 14-inch center stack infotainment system similar to other Lexus models we have tested, which is easy to use and a pleasure to navigate within. A Mark Levinson premium audio package was also included, adding an additional $1,000.
Ever since our test of the recently overhauled Lexus GX, it is evident why the brand continues to flourish with existing nameplates. Unlike other brands, Lexus has had great success with their long lasting naming convention, to the likes of others who have copied the idea. With the NX in the fleet, we know that 2025, just like other years, will be a great year for the Lexus brand as well as consumers who continue to thrive on their products. While service and warranty are just another reason why Lexus consumers are coming back for more, once you own a Lexus and experience the amazingness of their service and long-lasting products, you will be more than impressed and will be a customer for years to come.
