Jalen Brunson tallied 30 points and 15 assists, OG Anunoby scored 23 points and the New York Knicks beat the visiting Denver Nuggets 122-112 on Wednesday night for their fifth straight victory.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for New York.

Jamal Murray scored 33 points for the Nuggets, who fell to 0-3 on their five-game trip. Nikola Jokic finished with 17 points, six rebounds and six assists, and Russell Westbrook had 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Jokic picked up two fouls in the first 1 1/2 minutes and went to the bench just over two minutes into the game.

CAVALIERS 126, HEAT 106: Donovan Mitchell scored 34 points, Evan Mobley added 22 points and 15 rebounds, and Cleveland won at Miami.

CELTICS 122, BULLS 100: Kristaps Porzingis scored 26 of his 34 points in the first half, and Boston coasted to a home victory over Chicago.

Porzingis made eight 3-point shots in 14 attempts with 11 rebounds over 33 minutes. Jaylen Brown added 28 points.

Bulls’ leading scorer Zach LaVine missed the game for personal reasons.

TIMBERWOLVES 121, SUNS 113: Anthony Edwards scored 33 points, Julius Randle added 28 and Minnesota beat host Phoenix for its fourth straight victory.

The Timberwolves trailed for much of the night, but rallied near the end of the third quarter for an 81-77 advantage. Nickeil Alexander-Walker made three 3-pointers early in the fourth to help Minnesota push to a 10-point lead.

Phoenix had its three-game winning streak snapped. Kevin Durant led the team with 33 points.

76ERS 117, KINGS 104: Tyrese Maxey had 30 points and eight assists to lead host Philadelphia past Sacramento for its fourth straight victory.

Domantas Sabonis had 13 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists for the Kings.

NETS 104, HORNETS 83: Keon Johnson scored 18 points and Brooklyn snapped a seven-game losing streak with a win at Charlotte.

Miles Bridges had 23 points and 13 rebounds for the Hornets.

MAVERICKS 137, PELICANS 136: P.J. Washington scored 25 points, making all four of his 3-point tries in the fourth, and Kyrie Irving added 25 points and six assists as Dallas won at New Orleans.

The Mavericks’ Daniel Gafford had 22 points, going 9 of 9 from the field, 12 rebounds and five blocks.

Washington grabbed 14 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season.

Trey Murphy scored 32 points for the Pelicans, who lost their fourth straight.

PACERS 133, PISTONS 119: Pascal Siakam scored 37 points, Tyrese Haliburton had 30 points and eight assists, and Indiana beat visiting Detroit.

Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 32 points and nine assists.

RAPTORS 106, WIZARDS 82: Scottie Barnes scored 24 points and visiting Toronto beat Washington for its fifth straight victory and the Wizards’ 15th loss in a row.
