William Withers Belew, III, (June 14, 1944-September 29, 2024), treasured husband, father, grandfather and friend, lived eighty years and loved boundlessly.

Family, community, music and history were Bill's greatest interests.

Bill was appreciated for his wit and his willingness to lead. He loved puns, led sing-alongs with his guitar, and liked making people feel good.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; his daughter, Kathleen Belew, Diana Hammar Perry, Nathan Perry, Alex Perry; 6 grandchildren; and his siblings, Norma Upshur and Sam Belew.

A memorial service will be held December 21, 2024, 3:00-5:00 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder, and will be available by livestream. https:// uuchurchofboulder.org/
