Lyle (Ole) Jensen passed away at the age of 89 years old peacefully on May 28, 2023 at home. Ole was born on May 23, 1934 to Jens and Kristine Jensen. He was the youngest of 4 children. Ole was raised and passed away on the Jensen Ranch property. Ole attended the Esparto schools and graduated from Esparto High School in 1951 where he was on the 1951 Champion football team. Ole farmed almonds with his brother Glen, starting in the 1950’s. Ole enjoyed running the almond huller. He was an avid 49ers and Kings fan, going to 49ers Super Bowl Championship at Sanford in 1985. Ole loved going to Fort Bragg to salmon fish and rock pick for abalone.<br><br>Ole is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Artis and siblings Ellen (Sid) Fischer, Irma (Eldee) Wirth, and Glen (Lura) Jensen.<br><br>Ole is survived by his children, Jody (Vernon) Green, John (Tracy) Jensen, Jay (Deb) Jensen; grandchildren, Paul (Ashleigh), Kyle (Frances), Phillip (Samantha), Wyatt ( Jennifer), Kristin, Victoria (Anthony), Jacob and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Rachael, Jeremy, Mason, Savannah, Hunter, Andrew, Thomas, Jolene, and Audrey. A celebration of life will be held June 9, 2023 at Jensen Brothers Shop (16400 Jensen Lane) at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Esparto High School Football.<div></div><br>
