Donald William Croxton, born November 24, 1965, in Sacramento, California, passed away on June 23, 2025, in Santa Clara, surrounded by loved ones.
Born Deaf due to a birth defect caused by the German Measles, he was raised in San José and graduated from Leigh High School before attending Ohlone Community College.
In 1990, he married Tracie Slamp, and together they welcomed their son James in 1996; their 26-year marriage ended with Tracie’s passing in 2016. Donald retired from FedEx due to injury and later worked for Mission Springs Community Church. A lifelong car enthusiast, he restored several classics and was an award-winning customizer of Hot Wheels, earning national recognition at the Hot Wheels Collectors Convention.
Known for his love of Alabama football, vintage memorabilia, sushi, and his bold humor, he will be remembered for the deep friendships he built and his unforgettable laugh. He is survived by his mother, Marsha; his son, James; and son-in-law, David.
