Robert Allen Montgomery passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born January 6th, 1936 in Modesto, CA. At the age of nine, he moved to Seal Beach, CA then spent his teenage years in Midway City, CA. He attended Huntington Beach High School where he met his wife, Ann. Both Bob and Ann were in the graduating class of 1955. Bob began his automotive career at Williams Chevrolet as a lot boy and worked his way up to management at several dealerships throughout Orange County over 45 years.<br><br>He married the love of his life Ann Bottari in 1956, and they lived in Huntington Beach together for over 68 years. Bob is survived by his wife, Ann; his son, Matt (wife Janet); son Zack (wife Maria) and four grandchildren; Whitney, Nicolas, James and Siena. His family was his pride and joy.<br><br>Bob was drafted in the Army in 1959. He was stationed in Fort Ord, CA, Fort Hood, TX and ultimately Ludswigberg, Germany. He was Honorably Discharged in 1961.<br><br>Bob loved his home on the Colorado River in Blythe.<br><br>He created many lasting memories along the River with family and friends. He enjoyed his dirt bikes, boats and waterskiing at 70 years young. He cherished his time he spent with family and friends on the sandbar watching the sunset. Bob loved his Huntington Beach neighborhood including riding his bike to the HB Pier.<br><br>A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s by the Sea in Huntington Beach on January 10th at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Huntington Beach Fire Outreach Foundation (hbfof.org) who Bob leaned on over the past year.<div></div><br>
