Glad you feel better but now I am ticked off. Really you can’t just be polite. When you see someone needs to get over and perhaps the traffic is so very busy and because no one would be polite and let them over they get all the way up to their actual turn and have no choice but basically to just stop and wait for someone to let them over. If we would all be polite and let people over when they need to get over traffic would flow so much better. It’s not much different than holding the door open for someone who has a bunch of bags in their arms. And you know what you’ll get there at the same time it won’t cost you any real time on the clock just be polite and helpful to others.
I am so tired of seeing fake long hair, fake caterpillar eyelashes, fake long nails and fake body parts. I wish all of you women knew how gorgeous you were without all of that. Your beauty is in your soul.
Recently my doctor told me that I should use the Freestyle Libra 3 continuous monitoring sensor to determine my glucose level on a constant basis. Boy, how shocked was I that each sensor kit cost $81 and had to be replaced every 14 days. Thankfully the cost of insulin has been reduced to $5, they tell me. But the cost of the testing unit to tell me when I should take it is more than the cost of the drug. Then came shocker #2.The device is not covered by Medicare. Where’s the logic in that? The use of insulin and testing gear is inexorably tied together. Why cover one and not the other? Why sell a testing sensor with a battery that lasts only two weeks instead of increasing the size of the device to accommodate batteries that will last one month or more?
The flip side
I would like to thank the lovely young lady at the Oviedo Wawa Sunday who paid for this elderly gentleman’s paper. It was such an unexpected surprise. I am very grateful.
