The Kerry Carpenter experience is coming to Macomb County.

The Detroit Tigers’ slugger recently partnered with Savvy Sliders, a Michigan-based burger chain, the restaurant announced, the bring the “Kerry Bonds Meal” to fans of both baseball and burgers in the state.

The limited-time combo will feature two signature Savvy Sliders topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and the brand’s Savvy Signature sauce, a side of seasoned crinkle fries and your choice of a drink or hand-spun chocolate custard shake, which is Carpenter’s personal favorite. The “Kerry Bonds Meal” will be available at all participating Savvy Sliders locations across Michigan starting July 1 and will be $11.99 for the meal and drink option and $14.99 with the chocolate shake.

The combo’s name is a nod to Carpenter’s nickname, given to him by fans in reference to his elite home run power.

Now, for the exciting part: the slugger will make a special appearance at the Savvy Sliders location in St. Clair Shores on Monday, June 23 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., where fans can meet Carpenter and try the signature meal before it’s made available at other locations.

The store’s address is 31301 Harper Ave in St. Clair Shores.
