TOMLINSON, JOAN M. of West Bloomfield, formerly of Keego Harbor, died on June 5, 2024 at the age of 87; Joan and her husband, Ledge Tomlinson, were the owners of Godhardt-Tomlinson Funeral Home in Keego Harbor from 1972 until 1996. Joan was a long time member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church and served on several committees at the Church. She volunteered at the Matchan Nutrition Center in Pontiac. Joan was known for her kindness, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh. She is survived by her daughters Mary Tomlinson (Rick Hebert), Alice (Haig) Stoddard, and Anne (James) McInnis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ledge; daughter Maureen Reid (David), and brother Patrick Miller. Joan was a loving grandmother to Katie, Michael and Michelle McInnis; Meaghan and Conor (Jenna) Reid; Patrick (Amanda), Sean (Ashley) and Nathan Stoddard; and Emily Hebert. Loving great grandmother of Adrienne, Chloe, Novalee, Nikko, Jr., and Landon Gardner; Mackenzie Stoddard; and Carter Stoddard. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; loving nephew Daniel Miller, as well as several other nieces and nephews. Special friend of Sheila Fallon, Lou Ryner and the late Jeanette DeConick. We are forever grateful for the kind, caring, and compassionate staff at Cedarbrook Senior Living, where Joan spent her final years. They made her laugh, feel loved, and took such good care of her. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 3750 Commerce Road, Orchard Lake. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, and at the Church on Monday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
