Chesterton police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who may have been involved in theft at a local business in mid-July.

The theft, police said, occurred July 18 at Duneland Eliquid, a vape shop at 1050 Broadway. Video surveillance from the business led to the photo of a person of interest.

The person of interest is male, thin to medium build, about 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a short beard. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark ball cap and a black “Air Jordan” T-shirt.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information is asked to contact Detective Nicholas Brown of the Chesterton Police Department at 219-926-1136.
