John Tonje scored 27 points and No. 18 Wisconsin never trailed while routing Nebraska 83-55 on Sunday to hand the visiting Cornhuskers their sixth consecutive loss.

Wisconsin (16-4, 6-3 Big Ten) bounced back from an 85-83 loss at UCLA on Tuesday that snapped a seven-game winning streak.

Wisconsin grabbed a 19-2 lead less than five minutes into the game by shooting 7 of 8 from the floor and 5 of 6 on 3-pointers. Nebraska (12-8, 2-7) responded with a 19-5 spurt that included Wisconsin going scoreless for over six minutes, but the Badgers answered with a 16-2 run and never looked back.

NO. 17 ILLINOIS 83, NORTHWESTERN 74: Kylan Boswell scored 17 points and had six rebounds to lead the Illini to the home win over the Wildcats (12-8, 3-6 Big Ten).

Morez Johnson Jr. added 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, and Kasparas Jakucionis had 11 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for Illinois (14-6, 6-4).

NO. 24 MEMPHIS 100, UAB 77: PJ Haggerty scored 23 points, Dain Dainja had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead the host Tigers over the Blazers (12-8, 5-2 AAC).

Memphis (16-4, 6-1) won its tokhird straight game and seventh in its last eight.

WOMEN

NO. 9 TCU 80, NO. 25 BAYLOR 75: Sedona Prince had 24 points and 14 rebounds as the host Horned Frogs ended a 35-year losing streak to the instate rival Bears and took over first place in the Big 12.

TCU (20-2, 8-1 Big 12), which joined Baylor in the Big 12 during the 2012-13 season, had lost 37 consecutive games in the series since an 83-76 win at home on Feb. 28, 1990, when both teams were in the Southwest Conference.

Sarah Andrews had 21 points with five 3-pointers for Baylor (16-5, 6-2), which had won three national championships and 13 Big 12 regular-season titles while going to 22 NCAA Tournaments since last losing to the Frogs.

Madison Conner added 21 points for TCU.

NO. 5 LSU 64, TEXAS A&M 51: Flau’Jae Johnson scored 22 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, to help the Tigers win at home.

Aneesah Morrow had 19 points for LSU (21-1, 6-1 SEC), which was playing its second game in 48 hours after losing at No. 2 South Carolina on Friday in a contest postponed from Thursday.

LSU opened the second quarter on a 15-2 run and never trailed though the Aggies (10-9, 3-4) made it a one-possession game early in the fourth quarter.

NO. 7 TEXAS 61, MISSISSIPPI 58: Madison Booker hit a jump shot with 13 seconds remaining as the visiting Longhorns wiped out an eight-point deficit in the final five minutes to defeat the Rebels (13-6, 4-3 SEC).

Taylor Jones led Texas (20-2, 6-1) with 24 points as the Longhorns had a decisive game-closing 13-2 spurt.

NO. 12 OHIO STATE 72, NEBRASKA 66: Taylor Thierry scored 23 points, Cotie McMahon added 15 points and 10 rebounds, and the Buckeyes (19-1, 8-1 Big Ten) won on the road over the Cornhuskers (15-5, 6-3).
